The Functional Diagnostics Research Group conducts research focused on physiological monitoring, functional diagnostics, neurophysiology, cardiovascular regulation, and advanced biomedical signal analysis in children and adolescents.
The Group specializes in the development and application of innovative diagnostic technologies for the assessment of brain function, autonomic nervous system regulation, cardiovascular adaptation, and stress resilience. Particular expertise includes electroencephalography (EEG), heart rate variability (HRV) analysis, cerebral and cardiovascular functional assessment, and multimodal physiological monitoring.
Research activities involve the development of computer-assisted diagnostic systems, digital tools for physiological data analysis, and advanced approaches to biomedical signal processing. The Group has extensive experience in quantitative EEG analysis, neurodynamic assessment, autonomic regulation studies, and evaluation of adaptive responses to physiological and psychological stress.
Modern research is supported by a wide range of functional diagnostic technologies, including electroencephalography, echocardiography, Doppler ultrasonography, heart rate variability analysis, spirometry, and microcirculation assessment. The Group actively contributes to interdisciplinary projects integrating clinical medicine, physiology, biomedical engineering, and digital health technologies.
